But the director of the show decided the guys will look and sound perfect together. At the music show they performed for the first time as a trio. The audience liked this combination and Il Volo won the love of public. A well known person in Italy Cenci was impressed by the trio and offered them to cooperate together. The recording deal started very soon. But at the beginning of the career of Il Volo, the guys were called “I tre Tenorini” and then “The Tryo”. In 2010 the singers took part in the charity single “We are the world 25 for Haiti”. And only at the end of the year the name of the band was changed into Il Volo. Today Il Volo has got the Latin Grammy awards for best new artist and best pop album by a Duo or group with vocals.
