About 2 Live Crew

The 2 Live Crew originates from Florida; it was firstly formed in 1982 and played music up to 1991; in three years the band renewed its forces and began making brighter and more original music. There are three members in the 2 Live Crew: DJ Mr. Mixx who is known as David Hobbs, Fresh Kid Ice – Chris Wong Won; and Amazing Yee whose real name is Yuri Vielot. The three friends decided to play modern hip hop music which can be adored by young generation. The first single appeared in 1985 called “Revelation”; the song has become a real hit and the band continued working on other songs. Soon 2 Live Crew collaborated with Rapper Brother Marquis and the song “What I like” was published. It was a huge success for the modern band. The 2 Live Crew began realizing music albums year after year: “ The 2 Live Crew Is What We Are,” was the debut album of the 2 Live Crew; in a short time the second music album was published – “Move somethin’”. The band started touring all round the United States with brilliant and wonderful hip hop shows. In 1991 the band passed some difficulties with reunions of the 2 Live Crew. But already in 1995 Luke records helped Fresh Kid Ice and Brother Marquis – the new members of 2 Live Crew – to release a successful album “Shake a Lil’ something’”; this music album got the 145 place on the Billboard 200 of America. Moreover, it was in the top R&B \ hip hop albums chart. In 2014 the new single “Take in off” was released by 2 Live Crew.
