Oregon Ducks football program used the facilities of Autzen Stadium as their home venue, which has been in use since 1967. It was renovated and expanded in 2002 and the attendance had been routinely exceeded since then despite the capacity of 54000 with additional 5000 standing room.

The school produced one Heisman Trophy winner in Marcus Mariota who went onto being drafted 2nd overall in 2015 draft by the Titans.

In his rookie season Mariota made an impact immediately by becoming the youngest quarterback in NFL history to throw four touchdown passes in first half of his NFL debut.

Mariota also became the first quarterback in NFL history to achieve the perfect passing rating in his first game and he did so as the youngest quarterback ever. Way to start!

University of Oregon is also known by a coach, namely Chip Kelly who before joining NFL teams led the Ducks to four consecutive BCS Bowl games.

Basketball program has one NCAA tournament championship to be proud of, the university claimed it in 1939. The Ducks have gone to 14 NCAA Tournaments to date, most recently reaching the Elite Eight in 2016.

University of Oregon has four conference tournament championships to their name and five conference regular season titles on their offices walls to show off.

There have not been a lot of Ducks among the NBA players and out of those who played in NBA not many stayed for a long time, excluding Aaron Brooks, who has been around the NBA since 2007. In 2010, Brooks has been named NBA Most Improved Player.

University of Oregon might not be the most popular college to go to when thinking of getting a career in pro sports but as history shows there’s nothing that would stop its graduates joining big leagues if they put in required effort.
