About Neil Giraldo

Neil Giraldo is the most talented and professional guitar players ever! So many people think. He started paying on the big stage already from 1980s. Neil Giraldo was born in late 1955 in Ohio; already from the age of seven years he was holding a guitar; he was practicing everyday hoping to be a great musician just like The yardbirds which influenced him a lot. At the age of 15 years he was playing in bars in his city. Neil Giraldo was lucky to meet with Rick Derringer who was looking for a good guitarist. And yes, this was a success, as already in 1979 Neil Giraldo recorded a single with Derringer called “Guitars and Women”.  But Neil Giraldo thought it wasn’t enough for him, he wanted making more music and playing more songs. So he moved to New York. In the big city he got acquainted with Mike Chapman, who offered Neil to play with a singer Pat Benatar. She soon became his loved person and wife. Together they released several music albums: “In the heat of the night”, “crimes of passion”, “Precious time” and “Get nervous”. There were worldwide hits in these albums, which made Pat and Neil famous; “I need a lover”, “Heartbreaker”, “Fire and Ice”, “Shadows of the night” and many others are among them. Neil Giraldo is still popular today among rock music fans.
