About Aventura

The great American city New York likes to impress the world by forming new and interesting musicians and bands. Well, actually in New York the well known and original band Aventura was formed. This is an exciting bachata band that appeared in 1993. Anthony “Romeo” Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos and Max Santos are the members of the band; some of them come from the Dominican Republic, but live in New York. Unfortunately, the musical career of the guys wasn’t so happy, as they thought. As the members of Aventura were from Dominican Republic they wanted to make bachata popular in the United States, but the Americans were not ready for perceiving it. They were trying to combine traditional bachata with popular music, R ‘n’ B and hip hop. But this led to failure. Very soon the band Aventura had to separate. Unfortunately, the band couldn’t gain popularity and success among the American society. This happened in 2011; after the separation the members of Aventura still decided to continue the musical career. For example, Romeo and Henry began solo careers; at this time Lenny and Max became members of another bachata band Xtreme. No one knows whether Aventura will sing together in future; but everyone agree that the guys are very talented and are professional musicians. They have lack of wish, maybe, so they couldn’t make their dream come true together.
