About A Great Big World

A Great Big World is a young pop – rock band from New York. Two American guys decided to make quality and nice music together and A Great Big World began creating best hit already in 2011. Ian Alex and Chad King are the members of A Great Big World. They guys met while studying at university; both of them attended The Steinhardt Music Program. The first single of the rock band “This is the Nee Year” become very popular in the United States. This song was also used for MTV in “I used to be fat”, “The amazing race”, “ESPN”, “One three hill” and even “Good morning America”. Ian Alex and Chad King started to be named as A Great Big World only in 2012. After a year – in 2013 the American band signed with one of the most popular record companies – Epic Records. In a short time three songs were released. The single “Say something” has become a real hit and was used for the final episode for “So you think you can dance” – a popular American dance TV show. Moreover, the song got into iTunes chart. It is worth mentioning that A Great Big World appeared with Christina Aguilera on one stage and had a magnificent experience performing on a big stage. A Great Big World also took part at the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show in 2013. The young artists released their first music album “Is there Anybody Out There?” in 2014. During 2015 the successful American band was working on their second music album which was released in November 2015. There were several musicians and producers who helped a lot to A Great Big World to create and release this album: Greg Holden, Gregg Wattenberg, Dan Romar, Kevin Kadish, Mozellam Dave Eggar, Josh Kear and Derek Fuhrmann.
