Smith, plays as a cornerback for the Ravens. He won Super Bowl with them. During his career he grabbed 7 interceptions, had 42 defended passes and even brought home a defensive touchdown.

Solder who has been recognised as one of the better offensive linemen in NFL enjoyed his whole NFL career in New England where he won Super Bowl with the Patriots. Well athletic tackle is one of few lineman to have a touchdown reception to their name.

Basketball program competed in 12 NCAA tournaments, having their greatest accomplishment to be in Final Four two times in their history. The Buffaloes were conference champions once and  won 9 regular season championships.

The most known Buffalo among the NBA players is Chauncey Billups who played in the pro league for 17 seasons and won NBA championship with the Pistons; he was also named MVP of the series. Some of his other accomplishments include five All- Star game appearances, being named to NBA All- Defensive team twice and winning NBA sportsmanship award in 2009 among many other bright moments of his career.
